Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic, Herbs, and Parmesan
These noodles really hold the flavor of all the wonderful fresh herbs. Feel free to swap in any other of your favorite fresh herbs such as thyme, basil, sage or whatever else you have on hand. I served these with my chicken piccata recipe, but they go great with many other dishes as well.
What you will need
8 oz Angel Hair Pasta
1/4 tsp Salt
3 tsp chopped Garlic
1/3 cup Olive Oil
1/8 tsp Chili Pepper Flakes
1/4 tsp ground Black Pepper
1/4 bunch fresh Parsley
.25 oz fresh Rosemary
.25 oz fresh Oregano
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Gather all ingredients.

Portion ingredients.

Remove the rosemary leaves from the stem and chop into super fine pieces.

Remove the oregano leaves from the stem and chop.

Pick the leaves of the parsley from the stem.

Chop the parsley finely.

Bring salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Meanwhile, make the herb sauce.

Add the olive oil to the pan and add garlic and herbs. Add the chili flakes and the pepper.

Add the salt and saute over medium heat for about a minute or until garlic and herbs are fragrant.

Strain the pasta once cooked.

Add the herb sauce to the hot noodles and stir well to combine.

Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted.
