There is just something about any red velvet dessert that tempts me!  I love how rich and chocolatey red velvet is.  This is my favorite red velvet recipe and it goes perfectly with cream cheese butte...

What you will need

Cake:

1 cup butter, softened

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup plain greek yogurt (could be substituted for sour cream)

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 (1 ounce) bottle red food coloring

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup cocoa powder

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Frosting

Frosting:

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1/4 cup butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 Tablespoons sour cream

6 cups powdered sugar

Optional

Optional:

1 Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar, for topping
