The marriage saint
I've received this order from a brazilian bride, instead of throwing her 💐, she'll throw this cute Saint Anthony (In Brazil, Portugal and Spain St Anthony is known as a marriage saint, because there are legends of him reconciling couples) For the Lily, I have done an origami, if you are interested to learn how to make it, let me know
What you will need
60x30cm 100% cotton (for the skin)
80x30cm brown felt
brown, nude, pink and yellow thread
brown and yellow yarn
50cm cord
polyester (stuffing)
How to do this project

Pattern

Sew all body parts first, them cut tem and make little cuts on the rounded parts. Turn them to the right side

To turn the feet to the right side you will make a little hole in one side

For stuffing you can use cotton or polyester

Hand sew - close every piece, except the feet

Place the leg inside of the foot and hand sew it together

Making the feet: first place the pins where you want to be the fingers

Sew the legs to the body

How to make the hair

Make the same process for the baby's hair

Eyes, nose and mouth

Tunic: sew the sleeves and turn them to the right side, place the arm inside. Sew the body part and turn it to the right side. Remember to make a "safety" stitch to hold the tunic into the body (arms and body)

Hand sew the tunic with the body parts

Hand sew the head to the body

Wrap the baby, and make a stitch to hold it on place

When you use a cardboard inside the sandals it'll make it stands by it self
