Aloo mattar is a perfect side dish for roti and poori. It is a very easy recipe. Nutritious & kid friendly. Enjoy!
What you will need
1cup (200 grams) - fresh/ frozen peas
Potatoes - 2 small, peeled, boiled & partly mashed
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
salt to tast
Oil & butter - 1.5 tbsp each
2 medium sized onion & tomatoes- pureed
How to cook
Heat oil & butter.
Add the pureed onion+tomato & bring to boil. Add peas. Mix well. Add potatoes.
When it starts to boil, add garam masala, chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
Cook until everything is incorporated. Serve hot.
