Tindora Chutney


Dondakaya chutney is a very popular and spicy Andhra chutney recipe prepared with kovakkai (Tindora) which I learn't from my friend. It tastes great with plain rice and can be prepared in a jiffy. It is also known as Dondakaya Pachadi. Today we will learn how to make kovakkai chutney/thogayal following this easy recipe.

What you will need

   Tindora/Kovakkai - 10-12

   Onion -1 (medium size)

   Garlic cloves - 5

   Red chilli -3

   Green chilli - 2-3

   Tamarind - a small piece or 1/4 tsp paste

   Grated coconut - 2 tbsp

   Coriander leaves - fistful (optional)

   Oil - 2 tbsp

   Salt needed

   Oil - 1 tsp

   Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
