What you will need
1 cup mint leaves
1 tbsp channa dal
1 tsp urad dal
Dried red chilli 3 or to taste
Tamarind - half an inch piece

How to cook
Wash mint leaves, drain and dry completely. (Tip - after draining water, spread the leaves in a cloth/kitchen towel. Cover with another cloth/kitchen towel. Use a hair dryer to dry the leaves.)
Heat a pan. Dry roast the mint leaves until they are crisp. You should be able to crush them with your fingers. Use medium high flame and be careful not to burn it. Keep aside.
In the same pan, dry roast all other ingredients except salt until golden brown. Remove from heat.
Cool all ingredients to room temperature. Add salt and grind into fine powder. Enjoy with hot rice😋
