Spicy Yellow Peas Recipe
Aloo yellow Matar chat
It's a nutritious and tasty preparation. This can be serve with puri, luchi, bread etc. All time popular evening snack for family and guests in any occasion.
What you will need
2cup dried yellow peas
2 medium onion
1 tomato
5 green chillies
2 potatoes
3 dry red chilli
1/2 tsp cumin seed
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 inch ginger pest
1 garlic finely chopped
1 tsp coriander powder
1 cucumber
coriander leaves for garnishing

Dry yellow peas soaked in water overnight.

Next yellow peas boiled in pressure cooker and keep it aside.

Potatoes cut in small cubed, copped onion, garlic, green chillies and tomato.

Heat kadai with oil, add cumin seed and dry red chillies. When smelling raw then added potatoes and fry.

Next add onions, garlic, green chillies, tomato and fry.

When all vegetables become soft then add ginger pest, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Salt tasted and cook

Add boiled yellow peas. Mix well. Add some water and stir.

Few minutes later added garam masala and cover take 2 min open cover and ready to serve.

Garnishing with onion, green chilli, cucumber or coriander leaves.
