Angel Food Cupcakes with Mixed Berry Buttercream

 

These cupcakes are SO light and fluffy, you could probably eat the whole dozen by yourself. The berrylicious buttercream uses freeze dried berries and it’s basically life changing.

What you will need

3/4 cup Tbsp granulated sugar

1/2 cup cake flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

6 egg whites, at room temperature

2 1/2 tablespoons warm water

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

6 ounces cream cheese, softened

Half of a 1.5 oz bag of freeze dried mixed berries

1/2 cup powdered sugar

Fresh strawberries, blueberries or raspberries
