Beef and Black Bean Chili


A quick and easy beef and bean chili that makes for a tasty, healthy and hearty weeknight meal.

What you will need

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon oil

1 onion, diced

4 cloves garlic

2 teaspoons cumin, toasted and ground

1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder

1 tablespoon ancho chili powder

1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes

2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed (or 1 1/2 cups cooked beans, from 1/2 cup dry)

1 cup beef broth, beer or coffee

1 chipotle chili in adobo sauce, chopped

1 teaspoon oregano

salt and pepper to taste

1 handful cilantro, chopped
