Blueberry Rhubarb Turnovers


Flaky homemade turnovers filled with lemony blueberries and fresh rhubarb.

What you will need

1 cup diced fresh rhubarb

1 cup fresh blueberries

1/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 lemon, zested

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 (17 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed

1 large egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon of water
