Butterscotch Pudding Recipe

 

A classic recipe for Butterscotch Pudding from pastry chef and cookbook author David Lebovitz

What you will need

1 cup (packed) dark brown sugar ((see Note at end of recipe))

2 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted), (melted)

3 tablespoons cornstarch

2 1/4 cups whole milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 large egg yolks

2 teaspoons dark rum or whisky

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
