Candied Bacon Ice Cream Recipe

What you will need

5 strips bacon

about 2 teaspoons light brown sugar

3 tablespoons (45g) salted butter

3/4 cup (140g) packed brown sugar, (light or dark (you can use either))

2 3/4 cups (675ml) half-and-half

5 large egg yolks

2 teaspoons dark rum or whiskey

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

optional: 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
