Gluten-free Fyllda Hastbullar: Swedish Cardamom-filled Quick Buns

What you will need

1¼ cups (180 g) rice flour (or swap for half plain and half wholemeal flours)

¼ cup (55 g) sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

1½ teaspoons cardamom seeds, crushed

7 tablespoons (100 g) butter

1 egg

½ cup (140 g) plain yogurt

Filling

About ⅓ cup (100 g) jam

Or

3½ tablespoons (50 g) butter, at room temperature

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon crushed cardamom seeds

Topping

Pearl sugar (optional)
