Hawaiian Beef Sliders with Bacon, Pineapple & Candied Jalapeno

 

Make these delicious Hawaiian Beef Sliders for a crowd using a super simple oven-roasting method that allows large batches of burgers to be cooked to your ideal internal temperature. What you will need

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

3-4 ounces Gruyere or Fontina cheese, sliced thin and cut into 2-inch squares

1 tablespoon butter, salted

1/2 whole fresh pineapple, cut into 1/2-inch thick rings

1/2 pound thick cut bacon

15-20 "cowboy candy" or candied jalapeno slices

Steak sauce, for topping

15-17 mini sandwich or slider rolls (I prefer potato rolls, but use your favorite!)

Baking sheet with an oven-safe cooling or grill rack fitted inside
