Idli Upma
Idli upma recipe - One of the easiest ways to use leftover idlis. Sharing my mum's idli upma recipe that can be made just under 10 mins.
What you will need
6 Idlis
2 to 3 tsps oil
¼ tsp mustard
½ tsp cumin / jeera
1 ½ tsp chana dal
1 ½ tsp urad dal
Peanuts as desired
Pinch of Hing / asafoetida
1 small to medium onion thinly sliced
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 to 2 sprigs curry leaves
1 to 2 green chilies chopped or slit
Turmeric or haldi little
Very little salt
Coriander leaves few finely chopped
2 to 4 tbsps grated coconut fresh or frozen (optional)
