Indian Spiced Crab Cakes

 

These bite sized crab cakes have just a subtle amount of heat and tons of flavor. This is a always a hit at all my parties. The cakes are packed with so many wonderful flavors that serving it with a sauce is not necessary, but you can serve it with tamarind chutney.

What you will need

5 tablespoons Oil

1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

1 cup finely diced Onion

1 tablespoon finely minced Garlic

1 tablespoon Coriander Powder

1 teaspoon Garam Masala

1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

1 tablespoon Paprika

1 pound crabmeat

2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

1 teaspoon Salt

2 tablespoons Lemon Juice

1 Egg, beaten

1 cup Breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
