Lemon Poppyseed Layer Cake with Whipped Yogurt Buttercream

What you will need

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

zest of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons poppyseeds

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup whole milk

1 cup lemon curd (homemade is best!)

1 1/4 cups butter

3 cups (12 ounces) confectioners\' sugar

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
