Mooli Lachha Sabzi: Grated Radish Stir Fry

 

A rad way to have radish! Cooked with onions and chilies, mooli lachha sabzi is a wonderful winter partner for hot parathas.

What you will need

White radish – 500 grams (6 medium, in this case)

Onion – 150 grams (3 small, in this case)

Green chili – 2 (reduce if you want it less spicy)

Salt – to taste

Dry mango (amchoor) powder – 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon

Curry leaves – 10

Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon

Vegetable oil – 2 teaspoons

Yellow dal, cooked* – 1 tablespoon

Coriander leaves – for garnishing
