Pot Au Feu (beef Stew)

 

This pot au feu is a classic French stew made up of slow-cooked beef, carrots, and potatoes. Perfect for a cozy weeknight meal.

What you will need

1.25 lb beef shank with the bone

1/2 a large onion diced

2 cloves garlic minced

1.5 tbsp olive oil

3/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground pepper

2 carrots cut-up

2 leaves bay

2 small potatoes peeled and cut into chunks

1 tbsp tomato paste

teaspoons splash of lemon juice a couple
