Ras el Hanout Pistachio Belgian Waffles

What you will need

2 cups pomegranate juice

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup orange juice

1 cinnamon stick

213 grams white whole wheat flour

66 grams white sugar

2 tablespoons ras el hanout

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon each salt and orange zest

4 extra-large egg yolks

1/2 cup unsalted butter browned then cooled to room tempertaure

1 1/2 cups half and half or whole milk

6 extra large egg whites

113 grams shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
