Wine Poached Pears

 

There is hardly another fruit that is specially prepared using wine. Pears poached in wine have become a culinary classic. This dessert is amazingly delicious, beautiful and exquisite. ½ cup orange juice

½ cup sugar

1 tablespoon orange zest

2 clove buds

1 cinnamon stick
