Aquarium Stand

First I made a 2x4 frame using the deck screws. It's 50"L x 14"W x 33"H and topped with the 1/2" plywood. This isn't the actual frame because I forgot to take a photo but, this is the same design.

After taking several pallets apart, I sanded the boards and stained them with Minwax water based stain. After it sat on the wood for five minutes, I used a rag to wipe off the excess. Then it was topped off with a couple layers of the matching polycrylic, sanding between layers. Wiping it after just a couple minutes kept some of the grain from soaking up stain giving me the look I wanted.
