Farmhouse Tv Stand

I'm a 70 yr. old female, and wasn't allowed to take any woodworking classes in school. So, in my forty's, I took a woodworking class in a career center. Is there anything I should know in making this project. It looks simple enough. Obviously, my name isn't really Don.
