Draw the plane side

![e nose and tail thinner)](https://craftlog.global.ssl.fastly.net/m/ve/b64-4744-1472823139022-b3B0aW1pemVGb3I9ZGVza3RvcGhoZCZsYW5ndWFnZVRhZz1lbi1VUyZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU3RhcnQ9MiZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU2l6ZT0x.jpg)
Cut it with jig/band saw (horizontally for the shape, vertically to make the nose and tail thinner)

Secure it on the vise and round the edges with a gasp or file

Sand it to perfection
5
![ke pictures of the process - sorry) same thing in the tail](https://craftlog.global.ssl.fastly.net/m/ve/b64-4744-1472823139022-b3B0aW1pemVGb3I9ZGVza3RvcGhoZCZsYW5ndWFnZVRhZz1lbi1VUyZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU3RhcnQ9NyZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU2l6ZT0x.jpg)
Cut the base of it to fit the wings (I used a hand router, but forgot to take pictures of the process - sorry) same thing in the tail
6
![t deep enough, so I used the sanding machine to get to the desired depth)](https://craftlog.global.ssl.fastly.net/m/ve/b64-4744-1472823139022-b3B0aW1pemVGb3I9ZGVza3RvcGhoZCZsYW5ndWFnZVRhZz1lbi1VUyZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU3RhcnQ9OCZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU2l6ZT0y.jpg)
Mark the wings shape and depth - I don't own a band saw and the jigsaw isn't deep enough, so I used the sanding machine to get to the desired depth)

Drill guide holes on the wings base
8
![ou dont crack the wings applying too much torque on the screws!!](https://craftlog.global.ssl.fastly.net/m/ve/b64-4744-1472823139022-b3B0aW1pemVGb3I9ZGVza3RvcGhoZCZsYW5ndWFnZVRhZz1lbi1VUyZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU3RhcnQ9MTEmcmVuZGVyQ2xpcFNpemU9Mg==.jpg)
Glue with epoxy super compound glue and screw it together - be careful so you dont crack the wings applying too much torque on the screws!!
9
![nice too)](https://craftlog.global.ssl.fastly.net/m/ve/b64-4744-1472823139022-b3B0aW1pemVGb3I9ZGVza3RvcGhoZCZsYW5ndWFnZVRhZz1lbi1VUyZyZW5kZXJDbGlwU3RhcnQ9MTMmcmVuZGVyQ2xpcFNpemU9MQ==.jpg)
Apply the finish you prefer (sealant, in this case, but oil would be really nice too)
