Finger Joint Box
Box made from cedar and maple
What you will need
Cedar
Maple
Wood glue
Small hinges
Box joint jig
How to do this project
1
Cut the cedar to the appropriate length
2
Using a box joint jig cut the joints
3
Attach the sides
4
Use a thin piece of plywood for the bottom
5
Cut a piece of maple to fit the top
6
Stain or finish the box how ever you prefer. I used Danish oil and a stain from rockler
7
Attach hinges
