Brook Trout in Basswood
A friend of mine goes to Colorado during the summers to fish. He caught a massive Brook Trout but couldn't keep it so I decided to make him a carving to commemorate the fish.

Basswood blank
Carving tools
Sandpaper
Finishing supplies

Initial carving on basswood blank from Hobby Lobby. Used carving tools ( #9, #5, #3, #1 skew)

First coat of paint
