Lap Desk
Very Easy
I used scrap wood for this project because I needed a lap desk pretty urgently. Works well
What you will need
4×4 of desired height
Plywood
Dowels
Drill or drill press
Bandsaw
Table saw
Router
How to do this project

Cut 4×4 of desired height into 4 equal pieces lengthwise

Cut 2 rectangular pieces of plywood to the desired length

Cut the now 1" × 1" legs so that the plywood pieces can sit flush

Cut the pencil holder into the table top. I used a gouge but a router would work just as well.

Round over desk top with router

Assemble ( I used dowels)

Apply a finish if desired
