I didn't have any good storage for my chisels and flush cut saw.. while I don't own a lot, they still take up room. So I made this bad boy in 5 minutes.

What you will need

1x4

glue

brad nailer

How to do this project

1

I ripped my 1x4 in half. Then cut it to the length I wanted it and found 2 pieces of scrap that are barely a half inch wide. I put one at each end of the boards and assembled it. Leaving just enough of a gap where my tools can slide in and out.

2

I mounted it by using the French cleat method. Take a what ever you have laying around the shop and rip it longest at a 45 degree angle. If you look at the picture you can see what I mean. Mount one half on the wall and the other to your shelf.
