Wooden Butterfly's On a Stand
Easy gift for a young friend
I made this from of a branch, three twigs, a 2x4, and a dab of woodglue
What you will need
find a straight branch the thickness you desire
three straight twigs with a V at one end
one 2x4
How to do this project

Cut the wings out of the branch at a thickness of about ¼"

Glue the wings to the twig and let dry overnight

Cut a ¼" sliver off your 2x4

Rip your remaining 2x4 into a piece 1" x 1"

Cut two triangles of of your 1"x1" strip and glue them to it's side

Glue your stand to your platform

Glue your (make sure they're dry) butterflies to the stand with one on each triangle and one on the top
