5 Ingredient Ham Hash
Potatoes are a staple for every breakfast table. This dish is an all-in-one breakfast with ham and veggies included. Feel free to serve with a fried egg!
What you will need
3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 Onion
1 lb Ham Steak
30 oz Shredded Hash Browns
1 Green Bell Pepper
Fresh Thyme, optional
Salt
Black Pepper

Gather and portion all ingredients.

Cut the onion in half and peel keeping the root end intact. Make a few cuts into the onion with the knife parallel to the cutting board. Then slice into strips and dice.

Cut the pepper in half and remove the stem and seeds. Chop into about 1/4 inch pieces.

Slice the ham into 1/4 inch cubes.

Add the oil to a large skillet set over medium high heat. Saute until translucent.

Add the potatoes to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Let the potatoes brown on one side for a few minutes.

Add the ham the skillet along with a few sprigs of thyme if you have it. Saute until nicely browned and some bits are crispy.
