This flavorful compound butter makes a great homemade gift, and goes great with pasta, seafood, or steak! It will store in the freezer to keep fresh until used. Make sure your butter is softened before making so the ingredients are easily incorporated.

1 Clove Garlic
.25 oz Fresh Chives
1/4 tsp Salt

Gather and portion ingredients.

Thinly slice about 10-12 chives.

Add softened butter to a mixing bowl and grate the clove of garlic into it.
