How to Make Homemade Butter
from fresh cream
If you find yourself out of butter, or with an excess of heavy cream, easily whip up your own butter at home!

2 cups Heavy Cream

Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and keep whipping!

Continue whipping for about 5 minutes and the cream will start to separate and look grainy.

Keep whipping for a few minutes until the butter separates from the buttermilk.

Squeeze any remaining buttermilk out of the butter and wrap in parchment! You can use the buttermilk leftover for pancakes, cakes and more!
