How to cook
Remove the stem and slice as thin as possible.
This method should be good as a topping for nachos or for pickling, where you might want a little extra texture and you won't be overwhelmed by a big chunk of jalapeño.
You may prefer a more delicate slice. Without some impressive knife skills, it can be difficult to slice a jalapeño uniformly thin. But a small mandoline slicer works great for this.
A large mandoline slicer will work fine, just watch your fingers. These mini mandoline slicers are great to have around. You can find them online, but it takes a little searching. https://www.amazon.com/Benriner-Japanese-Mandolin-Vegetable-Slicer/dp/B000LCP6EW/ref=sr_1_31?keywords=mini+mandoline&qid=1576262183&sr=8-31
Move quick for a clean slice. Keep those fingers out of the way.
