The Magnolia Bakery in New York is known very well for their famous banana pudding. They published their recipe, and I was shocked to see how easy it is! This dessert is scrumptious, and can also feed quite a crowd!

3
Gather and portion all ingredients.
4
Add the sweetened condensed milk and cold water to a stand mixer with whisk attachment, or a medium mixing bowl to use a hand mixer. Whisk until fully combined and creamy.
5
Whisk in the instant pudding mix to the sweetened condensed milk mixture.
6
Cover the mixture with plastic wrap, adhering the plastic to the surface of the pudding so it doesn't form a film. Refrigerate for four hours.
7
Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks are formed.
8
Bring the pudding mixture out of the refrigerator and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding.
9
Slice the bananas into rounds.
10
Layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture in individual portions, a 9x9 baking dish, or glass bowl!
11
Build the layers until you have used up all the pudding.
12
Finish with a layer of pudding, smoothing the top with a spatula. Decorate with crushed vanilla wafers, whole wafers, or sliced bananas! Ready to serve immediately or keep covered in the fridge.
