Maple Blondies
These are a sugar overload and I have a deep appreciation for that. Like a maple brownie, gooey and sweet. This batch is on the small side. Great if you're concerned about having sugary treats in your house. But you may want to double the recipe for any kind of sizable gathering.

1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Butter

Preheat your oven to 350°F.
5
Put the flour in a large mixing bowl.
6
Add the baking powder.
7
Add a little salt. Give it a quick whisk to distribute the salt and baking powder.
8
Melt the butter. 30 seconds in the microwave oughtta do it.
9
Stir the brown sugar into the warm butter.
10
Add the honey.
11
Add the maple syrup.
12
Add the vanilla.
13
Whisk in the egg.
14
Then whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until homogenous.
15
Coat an 8" x 8" baking pan with butter or cooking spray. I like to use a square of parchment in the base of the pan to really eliminate sticking.
16
Spread the batter out in the prepared baking pan.
17
Bake for 25 minutes. Try to let them cool. I can't. But maybe you're made of stronger stuff.
