Ooey Gooey Bars
Sugar overload! A crispy cookie base with a sweet, gooey top. Kinda like if you took the flavor of cereal milk and condensed it into a bar.
What you will need
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
3 Eggs
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
1 lb Powdered Sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla
8 oz. Cream Cheese

Preheat oven to 375°F

Dump the cake mix into a large mixing bowl.

Add an egg and start to mix the egg into the cake mix.

Melt the butter and stream that into the cake mix as well.

Spread the resulting dough out evenly in a parchment-lined 9" x 13" baking pan. This stuff gets sticky. Parchment is going to make it a lot easier to get the bars out clean.

Now we'll make the gooey top layer. Dump the powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl.

Add the 2 remaining eggs.

Stir in the vanilla.

Add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth.

Pour the powdered sugar layer over the cake mix layer.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
