Salsa Verde
What you will need
3 lbs Tomatillo
2 cloves Garlic
1 Onion
4 Serranos
Salt
1 bunch Cilantro
Lime

Gather and portion ingredients. Wash produce.

Peel and wash the tomatillos until the sticky layer is washed off.

Remove the serrano stems and seeds if you prefer.

Cut all the tomatillos in half.

Heat a comal on medium high heat. Add the tomatillos and garlic clove.

Flip the tomatillos after a few minutes and brown and charred on a few sides.

Brown the onion on the cut sides along with the serranos and remaining tomatillos.

Add the tomatillos, onion, serranos and peeled garlic
