Surprisingly not too sweet, yet sweet enough add an extra flavour to pork or wild fowl

What you will need

2 medium yellow onions, sliced finely to make rings

cane sugar or molasses, 3/4 shot glass, more or less

vegetable oil, preferably sunflower seed or similar, about 3 tblsp

apple cider vinegar OR cognac OR whiskey, half a shot glass, more or less

maybe some water

How to cook
