I love this because I usually have all the ingredients at home, for me it virtually only requires smoked salmon. Called it a carbonara because of the large quantity of black pepper you can add to give it's look.
What you will need
4oz smoked salmon (i used a small package)
2 tbsp salt (for the boiling water only)
5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp black pepper(Nutritional facts 368 calories, 29.24 g fat, 20.6 g carbohydrates, 5.81 g protein, 88 mg cholesterol, 2124 mg sodium)
How to cook
Boil water. Add salt. Cook pasta.
After the pasta has cooked, drain the water.
Put the pasta back in the pan and add the oil and the smoked salmon. I used Portuguese extra virgin olive oil because it's flavor is Richer than the Italian that I usually use.
With two forks, break the smoked salmon into smaller pieces.
Add the grated Parmesan and black pepper.
