Baked Brie & Apples
With just three ingredients, create this amazing warm appetizer that's perfect for all the cold weather months.
What you will need
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Water
1 sheet Puff Pastry
1/4 cup Apricot Jam
8 oz Brie Wheel
2 Apples, optional
Crackers, optional

Gather and portion ingredients.

Set oven to 400°F

Whisk the egg and water together until smooth.

Lightly dust a clean work surface with flour before laying down the puff pastry.

Roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a square and cut the largest circle you can out of the square.

Brush egg wash around the outside of the puff pastry.

Add the apricot jam to the center of the puff pastry circle and then add the brie wheel

Fold the puff pastry over the brie.

Place the brie with the folds facing down.

Decorate with any leftover puff pastry pieces cut into shapes if you like.

Brush the top of the puff pastry with the egg wash.

Bake the brie for about 30 - 40 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
