Blt Sandwich
Just a classic diner favorite here. Toasty bread, smoky bacon, crisp lettuce and juicy tomato make for the perfect combo. Try adding avocado if you like!
What you will need
8 slices bacon
8 slices wheat bread
1 head bibb lettuce
2 slicing tomatoes
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 avocado, optional

Portion all ingredients.

Add bacon to a skillet and bring to medium high heat.

Fry, flip, and cook until crispy, about 10 minutes. Drain over paper towels.

Spread the bread with mayonaise and toast on both sides until browned and crisp.

Pull leaves off of the head of lettuce and wash. Tear off any wilted pieces and take out the rib in the middle if too tough.

Remove the stem from the tomato and thinly slice.

Add a little more mayonaise to the toasted bread and top with the bacon.

Top the other piece with lettuce and tomato and put the sides together!
