This is one of my favorite quick dinners to make. Utilize these filling and delicious ingredients to create a healthy meal.
What you will need
1 head Green Leaf Lettuce
1 cup Garbanzo beans
1 Red Bell Pepper
2 oz Salami
1/4 Red onion
1/4 cup Italian Salad Dressing
3 oz Provolone cheese(Nutritional facts 142 calories, 5.41 g fat, 15.99 g carbohydrates, 8.06 g protein, 11 mg cholesterol, 215 mg sodium)
How to cook
Gather and portion ingredients. Wash veggies and lettuce.
Chop the cheese slices into 1/4 inch squares.
Cut the salami slices into 1/4 inch squares.
Cut the red pepper in half and remove the seeds and stem. Slice into thin strips and then dice.
Peel and finely dice the red onion.
Remove the tough core of the lettuce leaves and chop into bite sized pieces. Add to a large salad bowl.
Add the garbanzo beans and diced red pepper on top of the lettuce.
Top with cheese, onion, and salami.
Add the dressing and toss to combine. If serving later, wait to add the dressing.
