How to cook
Gather and portion ingredients.
If you can't find hot honey at the grocery store, it only takes a few minutes over the stove. Warm honey until it becomes more liquid and add the red pepper flakes. Let the honey heat until it bubbles just a little and stir for about 2 minutes. Remove from the stove and store in an airtight container!
Slice the focaccia into portions and top with a dollop of ricotta cheese. Spread over the bread.
Thinly slice the nectarine and lay over the top of the ricotta.
Top the bread with a few slices of prosciutto.
Drizzle your honey, or hot honey over the sandwiches.
Lastly, top with some fresh basil for a little extra freshness.
