Nutella Madeleines
Chocolate hazelnut French shell cookie cakes
I love madeleines. Like a combo between cake and cookies. I still need to play with the texture on these, but the flavor is nice..
What you will need
6 tbsp butter
110g nutella
3 eggs
100g sugar
110g AP flour
10g baking powder
1 madeleine baking mold, optional
1 nonstick cooking spray
flour for dusting, as needed

Melt and mix the butter and nutella. Use a double boiler if you like. 30 seconds in the microwave should do just as well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar.

Whisk the butter and nutella into the eggs and sugar. Mix well.

Whisk in the flour and baking powder. Mix well.

Transfer the batter to a pastry bag. If you don't have a pastry bag, a ziplock bag will do in a pinch. Chill the batter for at least an hour.

Spray a thin coat of nonstick over your Madeleine molds. Then dust some flour over the mold. Make sure the mold is coated well, and knock off any excess flour.

Once the batter has chilled, snip off the tip of your pastry bag and pipe each mold to about 2/3 full.

Bake
Bake Madeleines at 400F for about 8-10 minutes. They should still be a little gooey in the center.
