Weeknight Crispy Tacos

These tacos were one of my favorite childhood dinners. They are super fun to assemble and you can put on your favorite toppings. Not to mention that satisfying crunch!
What you will need
1 lb Ground Beef
1 oz Taco Seasoning
8 crispy Taco Shells or Tostadas
1 cup Mexican Shredded Cheese
1/2 head Iceberg Lettuce
1/2 cup Salsa
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 Avocado

Gather and portion all ingredients.

Heat a skillet to medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Break up with a spatula as it cooks. Cook for about 6 minutes or until fully browned. Drain all but about a tablespoon of the fat from the pan.

Sprinkle on the taco seasoning and stir to combine.

Split the avocado in half, remove the pit and slice.

Cut the head of lettuce in half, divide into 3 sections and chop into fine shreds.

Start with the meat at the bottom of the taco, top with the cheese so it gets a little melty, then add shredded lettuce, sour cream, salsa, and avocado!
