What you will need
1 large cucumber
How to cook
1
Remove the skin. If you don't have a Y-peeler yet, it's totally worth the 5 bucks.
2
Slice off a little chunk from each tip.
3
Slice cucumber lengthwise, right down the center.
4
I like to use a small spoon to scrape out the seeds. You can definitely keep the seeds if you prefer, but I like to remove them in most cases because I prefer the crisp portion of the cucumber.
5
Slice the halves lengthwise again to yield long strips. Angle the knife slightly in order to maintain a uniform shape.
6
Collect the lengths of cucumber. Slice to yield small cubes.
7
Nice, uniform little cucumber chunks.
